)that were formerly slave colonies under the Imbrian Empire until they broke away in a fierce liberation war. They have spent the last 20 years since then building themselves up. Whether they be Human

(Catgirls who usually follow a religion closely related to modern Islam), and Kattaran 
(a hybrid humanoid species with characteristics of sea life ranging from sharks to cuttlefish)building socialism side by side.
First lead under the revolutionary leader Dashka Kansal, then the Idealist Ahwalia who lead the country to near ruin in pursuit of building a utopia on pillars of sand, then under the scientific socialist 
leadership of the Grand Marshall of the Union, Bhavani Jayanskar (I love Jayanskar so much shes basically as if Stalin, Lenin, and Zhukov were rolled into the same person but was a black lesbian badass who wore the uniform REALLY WELL)(she aint the main character at all tho shes only in very few scenes i just love her so much). Under Jayanskar, the Union has been growing their economy to both eliminate hunger and give everyone a home 
, but also growing their military capabilities for the inevitable return of the Empire. The Union is alone, but with the people by its side nothing, not even Destiny, can snuff out true freedoms light. 
As war wages between the Empire and Republic (basically underwater USA) once more over the lands between them, the facade begins to finally crack…
And a border conflict between the Empire and Union escalate, and the dreaded reconquest begins.
Amidst this turmoil, lives our main characters (yes there are multiple and all of them are lovely). Each of whom I personally love dearly, and are very well characterized. Many are soldiers of the Union, some are scientists, some are divers (mech pilots), some are lost strands finding new meaning after joining this band of Brigands
All are Communists 
All serve the Union 
All would gladly give their lives to defending socialism 
but even they would have little inkling of the adventure set in store for them as the lands beneath the waves erupt in fire, fury, and revolt

Am I gonna be secretly smoldering because you never do the dishes or your day for the cat litter boxes, am I gonna be secretly turning off the furnace so I don’t get overheated (WHO TURNS THE HEAT ON IN A HEATWAVE, ITS 40° OUT), am I gonna get weirded out by you insisting that we all need to eat together every night, am I gonna have to ask you to please keep the fucking noises down I have to work a night shift please don’t be so loud for once

If there’s no dishwasher, I get pretty overwhelmed by the amount of dishes and find them impossible to do. When I was single, I barely cooked for myself, just grabbed ready-made things from the grocery. What’s the point of all that work and cleaning for one person?
When i’ve had roommates they’ve been very kind, but tbh generally I’ve been a disaster imo. Don’t try to live with me lol I am probably hard mode. Like the one time I decided to learn violin and played at random times of the day, lol. But other than that I keep to myself most of the time, spending it online.
I am always under a blanket. Or multiple. I sleep with 3, and only one of them is weighted. I have a narrow range of temperatures I’m comfortable in (like 21-24 degrees Celsius), and outside that I’m struggling a little. I use a blanket when I’m sitting or lying down at every temperature, I don’t like the feeling of bare skin against the air.
I don’t care about eating with roommates, I just lock myself in my own space most of the time. It’s historically been more difficult to get me to actually hang out. But at least … other than the thing above … I am quiet?
I really cba to do the dishes after I’ve cooked, I get around to them later that day or early the next. could I be more proactive? yes, but I get it done and will feel guilty the entire time it’s not done
ngl I do like to eat together, but I get super over stimulated by chewing noises so there’s gotta be some background noise like a youtube video or some shit. so I like to watch a thing together, probs some dumb youtube video that over explains a niche topic I’ve never thought about at all, makes for good dinner conversation
I was raised by an absolute miser who never turned on the heat even in -10c, and being from the bleak horrific islands of the north atlantic I can barely fathom wanting to be warmer than 25c

I would be a menace, I live by myself for the safety of others.
I constantly leave dirty dishes (and laundry) around the house, freeze super easy, would be at least a little upset if you didn’t eat with me, and I constantly pace around the apartment like a restless ghost instead of sitting still.
I’d be super apologetic if you ever confronted me about these things, but would also definitely start crying which could be awkward.
I do the cooking and dishes as I cook and the cat litter. I’m the furnace, I love the cold not the heat. Eating can be sorted for whenever. I use headphones lol

I don’t turn the heat on in summer but I am cold, I’ll be wearing sweaters. I am good about my dishes but will be annoying about yours. Also we can eat wherever, I will use headphones in the evening.
What are your habits on towel storage and stuff around the shower?
I have grown so much worse about shower stuff which is why I must insist on having more than 1 bathroom. E has made my sink and shower adjacent products… multitudinous.
I wash my dishes as I cook~ never any dishes, always put the dry away, cook, clean the dishes and let air dry. Sink is always clean at the end of the day. The only weird thing I have about dishes that would drive someone crazy is I do leave a cup out now that I’m alone which is more convenient than getting a new one every time wanna drink some water.
reusing cups gang, why waste the water to clean it? i have one in the upstairs bathroom sink that we use, but uhhh we both forget to change it out every week so sometimes the glass starts to get a bit cloudy from the minute amounts of calcium here in the tap water

Oh awesome, your dishwashing and cup habits are great actually, very similar to mine. We could he housemates tbh, I think. Seems very doable, maybe even pleasant.
I do my dishes immediately, because of course. So the dirty dishes in the sink would be yours.
I don’t have cats, so I guess this would be up for discussion, if we had agreed on it then yes I’ll do what has been agreed upon, because it’s the agreement
I only use the AC for cooling because I’m warm enough to walk around in tank tops and shorts even during winter. So we’re working on your heat schedule
I mostly eat the the PC, so…I mean we can eat together if you want but it’s whatever.
I have a headset that I use a lot and fall asleep by reading instead of listening to anything so I’m quite silent, thank you.

Lol i do my dishes unless someone else has filled the sink with dirty ones, then I just put some water in them and set them to the side, cause Im not gonna clean up after someone else makes a giant mess (my housemates are terrible at this, they just, ugh, i love have dishes overflowing out of the sink because multiple people made individual giant dinners and none of them cleaned up after themselves for 3 fucking days (im not sour about this at all

You may get pissed because i want the home as cool as possible… So i run the ac even when its maybe not needed (10° is when it is officially chilly. 10°-15° is cool. Anything above 15 is warmish and bad. But im also a giant hypocrite and wear sweaters. I just like to be warm and cold at the same time i guess).
I wont clean cat boxes if they arent my cats and we havent discussed it. Or feed them unless theyre missing meals. Im fine with the labour but i need people to fucking talk to me about it. Dont text me an hour after their mealtime asking me to feed them every day, ask me before you leave if I can feed them this coming week (i had to explain this recently…). Ill almost certainly say yes, but im not gonna be on call for someone elses pets. Ditto on the cat boxes (but less of an issue cause its less often). (Of course emergencies are a different thing)
I wont insist on eating together, but i will insist we use plastic or wood because metal on ceramic is like an ice pick in my soul; when the cops find the bodies and arrest me, tell them it was justified.
I wont be overly loud, but I will watch my stories to fall asleep to, and theyll stay on until like 2am, so idk if the walls are super thin we might need to have a convo.
I also might knit you hats and knicknacks and maybe a bag, cause its fun ^^
You may get angry about the bathroom though, i have lots of stuff and no organizational skills… But I clean the toilet and shower and sink regularly so idk.

The cat box schedule is convenient so we’re only doing litter boxes half as often but the kitties get a clean box every day (or every other day, whatever) and they’ll be better about pissing in places they shouldn’t. Also if you’re not bringing cats, of course you’re not expected to do their boxes~

I do dishes all the time and scoop the box like a dozen times a day and am very quiet generally
I hate dirty dishes lying around so I always do my dishes in a timely manner and would not be happy with someone leaving them in the sink. I’d help with litter boxes if I was involved with getting the cat, but if it was already there when I moved in or someone else brought it with them, it’s not my responsibility. I’d never turn on the heat in a heatwave, that’s just weird. Also I wouldn’t turn it on in the cold either, I have pretty bad interoception when it comes to temperature (especially if I’m hyperfocusing) and would probably freeze to death before I realized I was cold. I think it’s okay to eat with roomies occasionally but I wouldn’t be the one to push it and I generally prefer to eat alone. I’m quiet most of the time and have my volume low at all times or I use headphones.
