When I first started my transition my partner surprised me with a shopping bag full of clothes, makeup, and a card where they wrote about how much they love and support me. Clothes and makeup are gone now but I still have the card, which I kept with all my other important keepsakes.

Opeth is a prog metal band. Well more straight prog these days. Anyway Blackwater Park, Watershed, Ghost of Perdition are all fantastic. I like their prog stuff too but I prefer these

Black Light Burns is a band fronted by Wes Borland from Limp Biskit. They only made a couple albums and this is the good one lol. It’s an industrial rock concept album about vampires. I’ve rarely met anyone that’s ever heard of it but I love it

Actually if you like Doom OST then maybe Binding of Isaac: Antibirth OST, more in mood than in wall of sound. It started as part of a mod for BOI and then it was spun out into it’s own soundtrack replacement mod because people kept requesting it

I got really high today and I no-filtered explained my current life situation to an old friend I haven’t talked to for awhile. Between writing it all out for her and reprocessing trauma while going through it and her only response being basically different versions of “are you okay??” it has finally dawned on me that I maaaaaybe am not doing okay

Skirts can be fun sometimes. I didn’t think I’d like skirts then I was swayed after trying a few. I love short shorts tho. Tied with leggings for me

Basically yeah. I like them for the same reason as roguelites in that there’s a mastery aspect to it. You need to build knowledge and expertise in order to successful clear both randomizers and roguelites. I’ve played dozens and dozens of La-Mulana randomizers by now and I’ve gotten scary good and I guess I just think it’s fun to take a game that has a reputation for being challenging and unfair and get to the point where I can crush it quickly

Some games work better for randomizers than others. Most Metroidvanias, Zelda, Pokemon, Final Fantasy work well

Super Lesbian Animal RPG has a trans protag and trans party member (as well as a few npcs). Ikenfell had a mostly trans/enby cast but I didn’t really vibe with it myself

I wanna know this too. I can think of a couple games with trans protags but they don’t have trans narratives

I’ve gotten back into randomizers last weekend by playing La-Mulana 2 randomizer. I’m not sure if it’s because I haven’t memorized it like I had the first but it took me like 12 hours to get to the end where I can usually clear the first in under 3 hours. It was also a rude seed that made me kill 3 bosses with only a knife though I guess that showed me how easy the bosses are in LM2 as I didn’t struggle that much. Maybe I’ll do another randomizer today for LM1. Or maybe Career Day
