    Could the state undo legal sex changes? Like is it trivial to figure out who changed their sex & birth certificate or is it a whole ass investigation once it’s been done?

      It should be somewhat simple nowadays especially with LLMs and sentiment analysis. But yeah, they can compile a list of people who had a change fairly easy. Only way to avoid this is to change countries.

          also like a lot of name changes and stuff are publicly posted on county organ websites… so like hypothetically a foreign country could dig into that and see that youre trans, but itd be a lot more effort than looking at their own files and might not be immediately obvious that they need to look

      I think it depends on the particular record that you’ve changed. Birth certificates are probably harder for the federal government to roll back because they’re run by the states. Social security and passports could maybe do some just by the president, so they’re less reliable.
