I’ve heard numerous times that transitioning makes you more susceptible to the cold, and while I do feel colder when I’m cold, it still takes alot for me to actually get cold.
I think my natural body temperature is still pretty high and I can still last for a good long while without any coat or jacket.
Ah u see estrogenized metabolism = colder but people always forget the corollary: hoes ≠ cold
I am hot af… what can I say?
How have you found your heat tolerance to be? I’ve been really susceptible to heat for some time now and I’ve honestly been looking at this as a potential health benefit for HRT for me.
Honestly haven’t been able to tell much of a difference, though part of that is due to a change in work environment to one that has AC. I changed too many variables at once to give an objective reading, but I think it’s a little better?
After almost 2 years, im still just as intolerant of heat as I ever was, but now I get cold way easier. So my comfortable range is narrower
Do you get heat injuries easily?
No? Idk, im not sure what constitutes a heat injury. I get confused and exhausted in the heat (~30c is about where that starts, anything above ~25c is uncomfortable), but idk if thats a heat injury?
