Because there’s a segment of gamer reactionary culture that hates the idea of females entering the gaming space, i.e. gamergate never ended for these fucking “people” and they are eternally angry.
I just wish theyd give up hating women because I do sympathize with wanting gaming to be a niche thing, I hate twitch, big corporations and con culture.
I liked cons when they were ways for fellow fans and people interested to gather and meet and enjoy something togethor. Like all things though it’s more or less become major advertising centers for major entertainment companies.
