The political compass and its consequences have been a disaster for modern political discourse.
They’re both on the left cusp of fascism - distinction is irrelevant.
Distributism has pretty much only ever been a Catholic deviationist thing so even though Social Democracy is objectively the moderate wing of fascism, at least it’s moderate.
