Getting the procedure done this week. Ordered some underwear with ice packs and sleeve for comfort. Planning on laying on the couch watching DS9.
Any advice from those who have already crossed this Rubicon?
Yeah I was feeling better like 24 hours later. Don’t expect to be on the couch for a week. Icepacks and DS9 sounds like a good start.
The place I went to had a TV on the ceiling to distract you, but the doc put on a nature documentary about owls, the thing turned into a mirror with all the night shots…
Other then that it was fine.
And I can’t stress this enough:
Get fucking tested by the fucking deadline. Do the 20+ wanks and get tested when they say to get tested. Something like 70% of men don’t get tested. That’s how you end up with an unplanned kid. Don’t be an asshole like that!
I just did it like last week. It was nothin’. Didn’t even need ice packs or nothing. Back to like 90% normal in one day
How about your vital essences? Are you replete with power now that you have no choice but to conserve? How often do you levitate in a given week?
I am the kwisatz haderach. I see all paths behind me and all paths before me
I am imagining a Haus of Decline comic about the pain box.
dont jork your peanits
seriously don’t fucking do it :(
Follow whatever instructions they give you when it comes to waiting on exercise/sex. In the moment it’ll definitely feel fine, but you will be punished later. Speaking from experience lol.
Also icing before bed is good, also buying extra ice packs is probably a good idea (4 was a good number for me, but you can always just return them later so get a lot).
Also, if there isn’t anyone around to help after, try to set things up so that everything’s within reach of the couch when you get back. I had help, but they couldn’t be around for the entire recovery period, so yeah keep the essentials close by.
Oh and there’s probably going to be dried blood in your ejaculate the first few times so take whatever precautions you need to/don’t freak out.
As far as my experience, I wasn’t one of the fast recovery period guys. But even then it wasn’t too bad, I just moved around and did things carefully, tried not to push it (ex. going on long walks without very supportive underwear). I’d sometimes have discomfort after sex, but that was usually my fault if you know what I mean. It’s hard for me to place exactly when I felt totally normal, but I’d say within a month or two I stopped having to be careful about the way I did things. But that’s just me, and I did have an injury back in the day that may have been the reason why it took me a minute to feel totally normal.
Oh and if your uncircumcised try to clean off your jockstrap or whatever as frequently as you can, I got balanitis because I didn’t lol
Also I’d recommend getting the no scalpel procedure if you aren’t. Probably fine either way but I’ve read there’s a greater chance of complications/longer recovery if you get an incision
I needed icepacks all day for two days, but i walked for 40 minutes after i had it done (dont do that)
I told the doctor I was having it done to destroy white supremacy and he laughed while he cut me open lol (you can do that, it’s not illegal, yet.)
Also, paracetamol
Oh they told me I’d probably have blood in my c*m the first time so I filmed it and no blood :( I was gonna do demon jizz on trotsky
bruh lol I’m crying at the thought of someone just whacking it over a picture of trotsky only to go when they don’t see blood in their jizz. thank you for that
💅
Now we know where Cannibal Corpse got the song inspiration
Clotsky
If you’re just getting it done laproscopically it isn’t too big of a deal. Just ice and ibuprofen and laying down for a day or two. Your sack will be black and blue and the doc will tell you , but most pain should be gone in a few days.
My buddy got his done with like, general anaesthesia and they opened him up a lot more and it sounded like he had a much rougher time.
Don’t get blue balls…it’s brutal. Or has been for me and I’ve had mine done for a year
Interesting
😢 not for me lol
I still get pain like that after 9 months, have to massage down there a bit sometimes during intimacy (lol)
If I’m beating cheeks I feel bruised on the left and right sides on my pelvis like I mashed the cords or something. It’s a blessing and a curse.
Do not think “oh, it’s been almost long enough, I’ll be fine” and be physically intimate with someone
Wait the recommended period at minimum, or you will be uncomfortable for hours
Painkillers, ice packs, and a distraction are enough. It’s not so bad.
I preferred a thin layer like a once folded beach towel between the site and the frozen pack. something I could adjust… not so cold I lose feeling. maybe a naproxen sodium for pain but I don’t remember there being much after the first 24-36 hours.
follow their instructions for rest time before exercise and cleaning. better to wait an extra day than invite extra pain.
mine was real chill, local anesthetic, but I will say that I get some pain that I didn’t used to if a partner plays rough with the bag.
Honestly my recovery wasn’t an issue. I just layed on the couch and played video games. Any discomfort was outweighed by the joy of never having kids.
I preferred having a slight barrier between the site and the frozen pack, like a folded beach towel (thin). maybe some naproxen sodium.
follow their instructions for cleaning and time to rest before exercise etc.
Everyone’s anatomy is different and this procedure seems more like an art than a science for the urologist.
I had a longish recovery which was like 6 weeks for all of the swelling and 95% of the discomfort to go away but I think mine was out of the norm. During that time it felt like I was recovering from getting kicked in the balls. Not the immediate aftermath of a kick rather a dull ache as if I had been kicked several hours before. Icepacks helped a lot.
Repositioning is needed as there may be a sharp pain here and there but be gentle. Over time any and all pains lessened and disappeared altogether.
Frozen peas on your nuts and a couple days of video games. It really wasn’t as bad as I expected it to be.
