I am not in the least bit surprised. Personally, I see very little benefit to millimeter wave unless it is an extremely dense area or an extremely big venue, such as an airport or concert stadium, etc. or like the Las Vegas Strip or Times Square. In places like that, millimeter wave makes total sense. In the rest of the world, it just really does not. LOL.
Especially in the US lmao, it could work in a few EU countries that have cities that can get fairly dense, but that’s about it.

Exactly. The United States is just too damn big for millimeter wave to work well.
Edit: I used to live in Minneapolis, right near downtown, and millimeter wave would work pretty darn well there, considering that downtown is like 12 blocks north to south, and like 8 or 10 blocks east to west.
Especially in the US where carriers thought they could charge a premium for mmWave service even with almost no coverage.
