I feel like cybering is something you did with strangers on the internet and sexting is done with people you know and possibly have sex with IRL. but what do I know, I’ve never done either

feels weird to call it “sexting” if it’s over discord or something and not SMS. but I guess nobody says “cybering” anymore so idk what it’s called
