Honestly I’m so glad I started doing it (about 3 months ago now). Even shearing it off with clippers left too much hair, highlighting my hair loss. My advice is to just go for it. You will feel great.

Advice from a trans person: God is Dead, and this obsession with people’s hair being “real” is bourgeois. You can actually just do whatever you want, that’s makes you feel better about yourself.

Wanna buzz it all off? Rad! Sinead O’Connor did it, so can you!

Wanna wear a wig or a toupee? Also rad! There are plenty of ways you can make those things look natural. Or don’t! Do whatever you want! Who cares?

As a trans fem who was really stressed about hair loss for a long time, I both buzzed all my hair off, and have a couple of wigs. And that’s cool and good, actually!

There’s absolutely nothing shameful about making yourself feel at home in your body.
