Did this have any effect on fire regs or does Japan still shove 30+ people into a building with 1 stairwell?
I’d rather die in a fire than live in another apartment building where 50% of the footprint is stairwells b/c the regulations require 3 stairwells per person.
District courts can do that?
I feel like they shouldn’t have that much power, but that’s what the newspaper is reporting.
rip bozo
People who worked on Akira died in that fire. I know a lot of their stuff is outsourced, but kyoani lost a lot of talented staff. One of the saddest things to happen in the history of anime.
In principle I’m against the death penalty except in revolutionary circumstances where it’s impractical or impossible to safely hold someone for life imprisonment. I don’t see the value of killing this guy over putting him in prison and having him do labor for the public for the rest of his life.

If you don’t like Haruhi when you’re 15, you have no heart.
If you don’t like Lucky Star when you’re 25, you have no brain.
If you don’t like k-on when you’re 35, you have no soul.

I’ve heard of too many Hitlerites to take this as true, even in jest
it is a show about teenagers who start a rock and roll band
I wish Hitlerites knew that, I think they think it’s about making the fourth reich or something
Something something this is what they took from you.
K-On’s fine, actually. Season 1 is more weeb brained, but season 2 is genuinely one of the better shows around, especially in the SoL genre this side of the random nonsense go shows like Azumanga or Nichijou. The movie is also good
I do think Bocchi the Rock is better however, I liked its music better.
I’m sure the show is fine! Hitlerites just ruin everything good
Bad because people died.
The studio itself, who cares, it’s just building/stuff (maybe some cool illustrations were lost, but whatever).
Last I checked, Yoshimizu Kagami, Tanigawa Nagaru, and Kakifly have never been KyoAni employees.
