been learning mando for over a year now. i’m solidly at HSK 4/A2. i’ve got like 3700 pleco flashcards, 1550 of which i’ve actually learned. going at 15/day for pleco flashcards and 5/day characters on skritter. aiming for 11k words and 3.5k characters in short-term. long-term should be about double.

i’d be further abead but i downshifted to transition from apps to a more serious learning strategy. current trying to devour the entire DuChinese corpus and all other 中文 graded readers. still using hello chinese for the immersive lessons and graded stories. been doing pimsleur too with “meh” results, might give up on that front. i’m still loosely following HSK curriculum via the Chinese Zero to Hero course.
