I think that’s the heart of it though. On some psychological level rightwingers understand how fundamentally their entire culture is one of grooming and child abuse, I can’t count the number of harrowing tales I have heard from other trans people. So like when they project their fears onto the unknown it has to be even more psychotic than what they are already doing to their own kids. Just to clarify they think that the child physical, sexual, and emotional abuse their culture propagates is a good thing, and its bad when other people abuse their own kids for different ends. The evil usnt the abuse, its that tou arent abusing them right. The idea that someone might like not abuse a child is beyond their imagination.
