For most subreddits it is temporary blackout but some communities like one of the piracy subreddits I saw completely packed bags and the mods moved to lemmy. It’s too early to say if reddit is over or if this is just a temporary setback. Reddit may even concede and revert some of their api changes to appease the populace. Simply put, we don’t know enough yet.
If this was the crux of the issue, I want to know if they tried to employ any kind of stabilizing system to keep the pizza level and shock free.

The datasheet of the SOC makes no mention of thermal throttling/regulation capabilities, only that the temperature must never exceed 125C (though in actuality the board itself may not even survive heat stress anywhere near that upper limit). Furthermore the Star64 wiki makes no mention of the feature. Unless somebody with physical access to the board can test this I would assume not.
