That was actually debunked. Misinformation. Though there isn’t much confidence in the Lebanese army’s capabilities.
My experience with him is unusual since the only thing I read of his works was his treatise on writing, a sort of memoir in which he recounts his experience with writing and work ethic.
It has to do with the domestic aspect of Hezbollah’s politics which the Lebanese cannot stand. They allegedly assassinated the Prime Minister (a neo-liberal billionaire, so that was cool) in 2005 and other liberal political figures. And in 2008 they were involved in a one-sided, mini civil war with other communities. And of course, the elephant in the room, it is blamed for acting as a proxy to Iran and that the latter is “colonizing us” which I don’t think they comprehend how big of an insult this statement is to the rest of the third world.
I don’t understand this country really. They seem so ingrained in the resistance axis, yet there’s so much liberal, pro-western brainrot!
I’ve been using their service for two years now. It’s open source and encrypted, and the upload speeds exponentially improved.
The Lebanese military is extremely underfunded, hence the indispensability of Hezbollah. Before Hezbollah became a thing it was Palestinian guerilla fighters who took that role.
Their government is dealing with its own domestic shit. They haven’t had a president since early last year.
I’m sorry I don’t understand what you mean.
Definitely. I also noticed how little these supposed economists know what marxism is. Their entire doctrine is incoherent.
Good point. There is one section that I can possibly move to the shorter chapter.

Ottoman Turkish, although the geographical terms and country names wouldn’t have differed much.
Musical theme: Kahlil Gibran wrote an eloquent essay on music, though good luck finding it.
Outside your comfort zone: Capitalism as Civilisation by Ntina Tzouvala, a theoretical work which examines how western legal scholars categorized non-western polities based on a racist standard of civilisation and justified colonising them.
Book from a different cultural background: the Cairo Trilogy by the Egyptian author Naguib Mahfouz, a chronicle of a wealthy family witnessing the instability of the 1930s in British-occupied Egypt.
Piano. It would make sense that the songs I can play perfectly are the ones I composed. Otherwise, I enjoyed covering Tempelhof by Yann Tiersen.
The public representation is more important than the ideology behind the process. Women take off their veils; they are emancipated.
OK, I will think about it. Thanks.
I never bothered with the social aspect of book platforms, so I use an offline tracker. Do you recommend me creating one?
