I feel the same. They do have around 250,000 signatures so far so who knows. Even if the EU resists, it might get more publicity.
“If the petition reaches 1 million signatures, the European Commission (basically the government of the EU) is legally required to at least introduce it as a proposed law.”
I didn’t know this, but you’re right: https://www.europarl.europa.eu/pdf/citizensinitiative/procedure_en.pdf
Ar aon nós, déanta.
That is curious. Given how unstable the platform has become, there are a wide array of possibilities.
It’s one of those colonial imprints that’s very widespread. I’d imagine like a lot of things in the last 20 years, it has declined at least a little.
I’d forgotten all about Erdinger and Franziskaner - you’re right, they were the first I remember here in the late 90s / early 00s. I think there was another one that wasn’t German, but it was very hard to find.
My local supermarket has 0% gin as well which opens up a lot of options for mocktails. But they charge the same price as a bottle of alcoholic gin.
The actors in the first movie were great. It was like watching real people rather than actors. Really drew you in. This one doesn’t seem to have that and the cast seem too young for the roles they’re playing. But maybe I’m just too old, or maybe it’s aimed at a younger generation.
I just bought the game yesterday and I’m finding the crafting, building tedious too. Especially the learning process is top-heavy for me, since I was looking for a mental pause. But I haven’t tried creative mode which I assume is more like that.
The update took me by surprise, coming one day after I bought it. I’ll stick with the game for now and see if I get the hang of flying the ship a bit better. The option to buy stuff sounds good but I hope that’s in-game currency and not real money :)

For those wondering what exactly counts as ultraprocessed:
“ from protein bars to diet soda, from cold cuts to packaged bread — and often contain "additional ingredients like artificial colors and flavors, preservatives, and other ingredients to preserve their texture and longevity”
I had no idea. That is great to hear.
I read that in the voice of Dwight Schrute
“I call it a loudener” - Sledgehammer
No, just more lies from Biden. Like his red lines, and like when he said he saw the photos of babies from Oct 7th.
Am I right in thinking that Germany was isolated and had little choice but to admit culpability? Israel has other imperial states backing it to the hilt so I fear the situations aren’t comparable.
It was a peaceful protest from what I can see in the video and in the article text. By assault, are you talking about the tiny cheap water pistols the two girls were squirting?
That’s what they would prefer and the point of their protests. Sarcasm doesn’t really fit here in this context.
The link just shows me the thumbnail but I found it here: https://invidious.protokolla.fi/watch?v=trF4sGKwfEQ
It’s great!
I bought this copy :) But I do remember listening to a live podcast segment about gaming where an audience member had their hand up in response to some question. When the microphone got to them, they said that one thing they didn’t like about old games was trying to figure out the controls. The presenter pointed out that for people who paid for their games, the instructions were included. I was embarrassed just listening.
I wonder if we could train dogs to diagnose by sniffing butts.
Irish. Good question, though.
