Do your problems gain any traction here?

Sorta. People at least don’t deny my problems

    Do you feel accepted?

    For the most part.

    Are there any concerns?

My biggest concern is that I often feel like people see things through a lens of “Internet outrage” rather than understanding that so much of the stuff we get mad about directly negatively impacts poor black people first ever time. I know the term “Terminally online” often gets thrown around a lot but I don’t feel like people on the site are plugged in with other people in real life. I don’t even mean in the poltical sense, I feel like many people are very isolated/alienated/alone in an unhealty way. Which isn’t their fault of course but it’s something I’m concerned about.

Any good things you have to say about hexbear when it concerns these issues?

Most people tend to be receptive one point out that not everyone on the site isn’t a Twitter/Reddit type of person. Also no one on the site has said “Oh you’re black? prove it!” or anything like that, which is nice.

Do you think people are allies here?

For the most part. At the very least I don’t think anyone on the site is an enemy.
