Chainsaw Man manga is peak, the anime is very good but hasn’t yet adapted the best bits
Yes but also chainsaw man features a lot of “women are grooming this underaged teenage boy but it’s okay because he’s a boy” shit which is honestly ultra disgusting
I want to push back on this, because while it does feature a lot of “women are grooming this underaged teenage boy” it’s very notable that every time this happens it’s unequivocally portrayed as fucked up and bad and Denji accumulates more and more trauma around precisely this kind of grooming as the series progresses

It’s worth noting that the first case, the one that all of Part 1 hinges on, is very clearly meant to be understood (eventually) as some sicko shit and Denji ultimately surrendering his free will to her in a proactive manner is unequivocally his lowest point, and it’s clearly because of a combination of her grooming and her machinations to create and then destroy his positive relationships that he offers himself up in such a way.
I think the Reze is supposed to be his own age. Himeno you might be right about, but I think she doesn’t actually find out his age until the morning after their aborted fling, at which point she lets it go.

Some madman posted an abridged double feature movie combining all of season 1 into two films on YouTube. I guess since it’s not monetized there’s something fucky with why it won’t be taken down? There’s a few things that were cut so you’ll still want to watch full episodes somewhere. But if you don’t have a VPN or a treasure map, you can find it for free on YouTube.
Sadly the moo deng devil won’t show up in the anime until like season 5. We got a long way to go.
