Neither of them. I won’t lift a finger in support of either one.

If someone wants my vote they need to actually offer me something. If they would rather lose my vote than concede anything they are fundamentally opposed to my goals. I’m not interested in empowering or legitimizing my enemies.

So unless a candidate is 100% aligned with every wish and desire you have and placates you with generous offerings,

Why does every single argument libs have on voting sound like a stark condemnation of democracy itself?

You do realize that’s not how democracy works, right?

That is in fact exactly how democracy works

That’s how it was envisioned. You voted for the person who aligned with your views on the world. America is the one who corrupted it into two identical parties and started this dogshit meme that you have to hold your nose and vote for a colour regardless of policy

Note: I’m not American but this still applies.

I said in my other comment that it’s not just Palestine, she also wants to build the Trump border wall. It’s not 80% alignment but near zero.

The only policy that she had that was even half decent was price controls and she dropped that very quickly.

She says she will defend abortion, but has not said how. She said she will defend LGBT rights but again, how?

You know, liberals and leftist parties in global south countries are far more competent when it comes to describing policy. Heck even Obama masqueraded as a progressive.

For instance, here is the manifesto of the coalition which recently won the elections in Sri Lanka. Will they be able to implement it? Maybe maybe not, but they articulated it.

See, democracy is when fascism is the default outcome, wanting better is unrealistic and you gotta vote genocide to “stop” genocide. No, you don’t get to question what stop means here

Please explain to me how democracy works, wise liberal. How much genocide does democracy require you vote for? How much must you empower your opponents to be democratic?

Why don’t you vote for Trump? Just because he’s not offering anything you want?
