On a side note, as a Wisconsin guy I can’t read “brat” as anything other than short for bratwurst and this whole meme is really messing with me

I remember when calling someone a coconut meant that they were black on the outside and white in the middle. Kind of like a black person who fights to maintain the racist status quo.

personally I never heard coconut used that way but I did hear people called “oreos”

It’s really good and has taken off as a cultural moment kind of thing, so stuff like “X is brat” or “Y is so julia” are memes that are incomprehensible to anyone who isn’t into this level of eternally online alt-pop cultureThe album cover is like a lime green square jpeg with brat in lowercase and a lot of jpeg artifacting
