I can get more home for a cheaper price but the actual tax rate is lower as well. When I go to eat out, it’s much cheaper in Florida than it is in Oregon. My family has been in Florida for six months. They love it and we can easily compare the cost since I’m still in Oregon. Overall we estimate it’ll save us around 50k a year in taxes and cheaper living. There is a reason Florida, Texas, are growing at such rampant rates. I prefer the Oregon climate but I’m tired of the excessive taxation and cost of living

The desirable parts of Florida are much more expensive. Anyway, enjoy the sunshine and hurricanes.
