Todd Howard has confirmed during an interview that Bethesda Game Studios doesn't want to rush the next Fallout game and isn't in a hurry.

They did. Fallout 76 was licensed to a newly created studio named Bethesda Austin. And Fallout 76 was an on holy disaster on release.
