Roger Wilder, R-Denham Springs, who sponsors the child labor measure and owns Smoothie King franchises across the Deep South, said people have been too critical of his bill. “The wording is ‘we’re here to harm children.’ Give me a break," he says. "These are young adults.”

    This is the quote and it’s appalling.

      Oh got it so ya we’re saying this all wrong then, ya? It should be “we’re here to harm young adults”, right?

      He needs to be removed from office by force if necessary. And we need fucking law that you have give up your business to run and hold political office. Fuck this scumbag.

      Thanks. I went to get the quote and the article was behind a paywall. This guy probably can’t figure iut why he has high employee turnover.
