China’s focus on the supply side to drive economic growth is creating problems in Europe, according to the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China

Honest conversations are needed, while China should steer away from excessive self-reliance to create a more sustainable environment for foreign businesses

EU shamelessly plagiarizing from Britain once again. These words were spoken by British bureaucrats and merchants almost 200 years ago.

EU acting like they are relevant 😂 socialism outcompetes capitalism just like capitalism did to feudalism. Nothing shocking or weird it’s just the natural progression of things.

But to create a more sustainable environment for foreign businesses, the chamber said China should steer away from excessive self-reliance and mitigate economic risks in a surgical and precise manner.

Step 1: Sanction the country with the explicitly stated purpose of slowing down its economic growth

Step 2: Suffer the economic consequences of sanctioning the largest industrial economy in human history which produces 35% of all the world’s manufacturing

Step 3: Throw a public temper tantrum

Truly, “our” leadership is composed of the greatest minds to have ever walked upon this earth.

Also, just how dumb do they think Chinese leadership is. We’ve explicitly said we want to hobble your economy and keep you down, now why don’t you start being more dependent on us to help facilitate that. 🤡

  • The US has power (even if it’s waning), the EU/Eurozone are nothing but an appendix of American power. They don’t have any real power, so their voice is irrelevant. Why talk to the assistant to the regional manager when I can talk to the regional manager himself.
