Bande dessinée was how I initially fell in love with comic books. As a child I collected a huge amount, mainly Lucky Luke, Asterix and Tintin. Later, when I was a teenager I discovered Moebius and the Jodoverse and man was I hooked! So I started to look deeper into the world of more mature and artsy franco-belgian comics.

I love everything about it, and as I say, I want our comments & work to belong to US, the users & members, the authors & creators, and -NOT- a corporation. Now if that finds you in similar ideation, then let’s go!

It seems we got some work to do! For example, we’re going to need an avatar icon and some background art, for starters. What say ye, ye ol’ scurvy lot of sail-adjusters!

I´d vote for a (nicely colored) Moebius drawing but I assume you would prefer something more classic like Tintin maybe?
