Honest to goodness, you’ll get your teeth kicked in by the cops over a lot of stupid shit in the US, but I seriously doubt you’d get jail time for trying to overthrow the government by standing around with a blank sign. Nobody here is saying I’m wrong, it’s just that it’s different when the country they like does it, and I don’t think it is. Oppression is oppression, and you either believe it’s for a righteous cause or you don’t. For both the US and Russia, I don’t think it’s got a righteous cause.
