    Great question — your example is a totally different thing actually. Fear from ignorance — in this quote, is more about being afraid of the unknown and is a pretty efficient way to never leave the comfort zone.

    Yet, still, fear of loosing a job is something that can be worked through. Stoicism in a nutshell would address it (kinda) in this sort of way: “Don’t be consumed by the fear of loosing your job, be prepared for it as it can happen any day, and more often than not it won’t even be your fault.” — or something similar.
