A game that came to my mind for me when it comes to being shitty but has probably the best soundtrack setlist in the series is Megaman X6, arguably one of the worst Megaman game in comes to gameplay and difficulty, but one thing that makes it crazy is the soundtrack, it’s varied and they slap much harder than even the first Megaman X
FF14. The soundtrack is carrying the game.
Childish plot, useless cut-scenes, poor game systems. but you fight big boss with cool music.

The question is somewhat irrelevant in the era of youtube, but unfortunately for me I’ve done all (in small doses, for my sanity, since I’ve played since ARR. I wouldn’t start now, I’d certainly leave halfway like my friends who tried to join me)
so. you thought I was talking about the early game, trying to say “it get better later” like every fanboys? No, it doesn’t get better. It’s the same shitty quests and cut-scenes all the way down, it even get worse for some parts (endwalker is certainly the most childish part of the msq)
but cool soundtrack
The soundtrack is brilliant. Top class shit and I don’t mean just the reworked FF tunes from other games. Its a great soundtrack.
Been a long time since I’ve played it, stopped at the end of Heavensward and don’t have the time/patience to go back to an MMO myself. The fetch quests wore me out.
Even as someone who liked it up to 6.0, the OST is like the top 3 best things about the game.
