A game that came to my mind for me when it comes to being shitty but has probably the best soundtrack setlist in the series is Megaman X6, arguably one of the worst Megaman game in comes to gameplay and difficulty, but one thing that makes it crazy is the soundtrack, it’s varied and they slap much harder than even the first Megaman X

Link The Faces of Evil Zelda The Wand of Gamelon

Totally unfitting for a real Zelda game, but on their own, there are a few bops.

Brütal Legend. Starts off fun but slowly becomes a tower defence game. Has an incredible setlist and has the Prince of Darkness himself playing a character! I love this game as much as I hate it.

Meh, I’ll be buried, but here we go.

It’s not really “shittiest” game I played, but it’s not exactly the best game out there.

Bit Dungeon Plus has actually a banger of a soundtrack, especially the ice cave theme is amazing. I used to play the game just to hear it for a few minutes.

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest on the SNES.

The game is mind numbingly easy. To the point where you can just mash the a button through much of it.

However just listen to this battle theme:

Honestly it’s not such a disaster but id say sonic adventure 2

I consider it a bad game overall because many levels sucked horribly thanks to iffy gameplay mechanics but the sonic levels were pretty nice so more of a mixed package than outright bad but maybe im remember it wrong i dunno

    The soundtrack kicked ass though

I was so hyped for this game, and the first ~20 hours were so amazing. It was a huge disappointment when it devolved into a totally generic MMO with a fundamentally flawed combat system. I’ve never regretted buying the collector’s edition though, because it came with a soundtrack that I still listen to to this day.

TMNT on NES. The game was bad in a sense that it was too damn hard for kids who were fans of the series (like me) but my god do I love the soundtrack!

Maybe that’s what kept us playing?
