Nice try, but all movies by 2050 will be strings of 15 second advertisements that just share a common cast.

It doesn’t sound too far-fetched, I stopped watching MCU stuff with Age of Ultron and have never seen a Star Wars movie. If you told me that the next big release (probably not the Marvels because nobody seems to care about that) ended with a Star Wars crossover tease I would absolutely believe you. And all that Spiderman stuff HAS happened as far as I know, just with figuratively jerking each other off rather than literally.

Bold of then to assume movies by then won’t be full-on advertisements for the most useless products that have a 90000% price markup. And that they’ll last more than a minute as to accommodate the average attention span being so atrocious that focusing on anything will be impossible.

Relatable post, I kind of loathe the MCU and all those boring formulaic movies.

I have news for you about… all fiction in history. No one reads pulp fiction novels from 100 years ago anymore, but they were very popular.

The saddest part about all the posts in this thread is that not only are they realistic, but literally all it takes to prevent that stuff from happening is not buying into it… But we will. We will…

Disney will be the only one left and the only one allowed to release movies. All movies are Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar Cars & Toy Story sequels.
