    I like that they think Jesus has a bunch of requirements to show up like they’re doing a summoning and that the result is the end of the world… and they WANT to cause that, because they think they’ll get to live forever because God chose them to be special so long as they try to make everyone live like them against their wills.

    Maaaaybe they’re a cult.

      Apparently, one of the requirements is “all the Jews convert to Christianity.” I guess I’m holding off Armageddon by refusing to convert. You’re welcome.

      Completing an ancient ritual to become immortal/gain the power of a god(s) is the plan of the main villain of so much fiction, it’s a trope. If I had the time to throw away, I’d go into TV Tropes and find it
