  • there are countries where people save for their retirement (and pay for health insurance) in pesos, rands and whatnot… alot of people outside of the us and the developed world are one cancer away from bankruptcy, and thus, death is a way less painful exit. people in the phillipines earn 233$ on average per month, can their health system afford melanoma treatement for everyone ? i doubt so. is it worth to spend all ur life’s effort on one random drug ? … americans (and all developed world citizens) need to be less centric really…






  • well, it would be nice if people were allowed to hold on to their cars 30+ years, instead of just 8 (well like phones: cars should have upgradable parts like headlights: sometimes u would want a car just for the led lights, because the older ones have a canbus that doesn’t support led :(, conversion kits just made by oem, but no, they don’t exist) also car manufectrers are ought to build reliable cars instead of ones with planned obsolescence…but no we make laws that prioritize making profits for car producers instead…the heat used to cast a car body is insane, let alone the fuel consumption that is comprised within a car’s life. also people need to be aware to not to drive in snowy roads were salt is used to avoid snow formation: salt is the number one enemy for a car’s body.





















  • mais parfois lire un article par soi même sans des commentaires qui aident à décortiquer le sujet serait un peu difficile à digérer. un aggrégateur de liens comme Lemmy offre bien cette possibilité. Aussi dans le contexte de limiter les navettes permettre d’utiliser l’accés biblio, hors de la biblio, dans le confort de chez soi et à l’aide de son téléphone serait peut être plus environemental et plus bénefique, aprés tout les biblios sont déjâ subventionnés par le contribuable…
