You can’t deny that both Newt Gingrich and Bill Clinton are adulterers. Newt Gingrich accusing Bill Clinton of adultery is hypocrisy on Newt Gingrich’s part, because Newt Gingrich is an adulterer. That was the original point of the original comment. Saying a person does a bad thing is not the same as absolving them of all of their other transgressions, like you’re trying to so pedantically suggest. An 8oz cup of coffee only has like 75-100mg of caffeine in it. With your 16oz cup plus an energy drink plus an Excedrin, that would be like ~400-500mg of caffeine. Assuming a typical drip coffee maker that can make 12 cups, you’re looking at a total of like ~1000-1200mg of caffeine, double or triple your estimated daily amount. So it’s kinda no wonder you felt wired that day. Extreme, sudden spikes in your stimulant intake will do that.

From what I understand, the insurance is against the cap. Haslam does still have to pay Watson’s salary, but the team gets a cap credit next year for the amount they insured. I think how much Haslam pays for the insurance premium may go against the cap, but it’s hard to nail down solid info about this stuff.
