I wonder what people who constantly chop and change lanes in heavy traffic do with all that time they save getting to work? On our normal Beaudesert Road commute we can watch someone change lanes literally dozens of times between Chambers Flats and Annerley. And then despite not changing lanes at all we’re normally within a few car lengths of them by the other end of the journey… but obviously it must pay off sometimes otherwise they wouldn’t do it it, right? On those occasions when they arrive at work MINUTES ahead of schedule, they must get some truly productive shit done.

I reckon it’s a special enough occasion that the entire word should be in CAPS.

On the downside, I’m on call for it 😥

I was half right

AFL, the Brisbane Bears beat the Sydney Swans by like 60 points in Melbourne over the weekend. Some old bloke told the players to “shake the kids hand” when they were getting medals, so he’s a legend somehow. Also Chris Faygen(sp?) is the oldest coach to win a final thingo, and the only one to win it without ever being a player himself. That should be enough talking points to get you through until lunch time.

Lions win over the weekend got all the work lads on a high. I probably should have watched it heh

How am I only just discovering pork knuckle? I’m like a million years old and only just tried it. This is amazing! It’s a turning point in my life. Everything will now be classed as occurring before the discovery of pork knuckle, and after.

Took 30 minutes to drive the last 10 minutes of our commute today… Motorbike crash on the Logan, car crash on the main road to Greenbank, then a car and a motorbike a bit further down.

And should we have tried to come in from Springfield, there was a crash that way too.

I dunno man, seems easier to just cruise along and get home safe rather than driving like a fuck stick trying to shave a few seconds off your commute and risking injury and death.
