For all its flaws, Halo 4 did have some intrigue. Which they then completely abandoned for Halo 5’s story. Which they then, again, completely abandoned for Infinite. It’s just like the sequel trilogy!

While I, to some extent, agree with you; it is predatory behaviour by those companies and I don’t like it.
And some people are weak to such practices. Customers have to be protected from themselves to some extent, as has been shown in other industries.
But regulations are bad, right? They impede the free market, right? Right?

Companies would never employ predatory behaviour to prey on customers, and have never had to be regulated before. It really is the customer’s fault for engaging.
They used to be a bit of a phenomenon back on the 196 subreddit, and posted their own videos there. (Which in turn was cause for some controversy as an exception to the general “no nsfw” directive)

The 4K screen is specific to the Xperia 1 V. Though it seems the 1 VI has dropped it for 1080.
The Xperia 10 VI is a more budget version, still with a headphone jack.
I wouldn’t know about the ability to decline updates.
(The 1 is their premium model, the 10 budget. The Roman numerals are the generation.)
I doubt people earning over €227,000 a year have any issues paying for rent, why shouldn’t they get taxed more to bring earnings more in line? That way more money can go to support the lower earning demographics.
