Yes, it’s easy to forget “Les Républicains”, LOL.

They didn’t exactly suffer a blow. They increased their number of seats in the parliament from 89 to 142. Yes, they are the 3rd biggest group when most polls were putting them on top, but their influence is increasing a lot and they stay in a position of opposition which may favor them for the next big election, the presidential election of 2027.

The biggest group in the new parliament, Nouveau Front Populaire, was formed less than a month ago. They have much to prove if they want to gain long term trust of the electors, and this with only a relative majority, which will make it difficult for them to vote reforms on their terms.

All am saying is, I am glad we avoided the worst yesterday, but there is still much work to do. One battle won, war against fascism continues…

I don’t understand how 30k police will help against violence. They are doing the violence. Police force in France is largely acquired to the fascist’s cause.

Make No mistake, every single one of the RN members would gladly wear a Nazi hat and behave as such, if they didn’t have to appear reasonable to access power. They are a hateful and violent group. This party has been co-founded in 1972 by a former SS. Their plan for France is not to kick out migrants and reenforce safety, no, no, no. Their plan is to destroy freedom of speech and press, destroy education, destroy the “Rules of law” (L’État de droit), militarize police and racial cleansing.

Alors, il y en a tout de même certains qui ne se sentent pas concerné. Sûrement, qui ne se sentent pas concerné non plus par l’UE.

On remercie aussi nos compatriotes expatriés de n’avoir laissé passer aucun candidat RN au second tour.

le NFP est clair sur leur stratégie de barrage républicain. Mais j’ai peu d’espoir pour les Macronistes et LR…

Méluch à dit précisément 2 conditions pour se retirer des triangulaire:

1. RN est premier

ET

2. NFP est 3ième

Moi ce que je comprends c’est, si NFP est 3ième mais RN est 2ième, alors le/la candidat(e) NFP ne se retirera pas forcément.

Je suis dans la 7ième circo, j’ai rencontré la candidate FI en 2022. Elle me paraît compétente, déjà engagé dans l’administration des français de l’étranger depuis un moment. Je voterai pour elle à nouveau.
