1. Really hard to run an attack campaign when you’re the incumbent party. If your messaging is just “im a bit better than the other guy” people are just gonna point to the shit job you’re doing right now. Historical levels of unpopularity is real hard to come back from, bush needed 9/11.
2. The whole Biden debacle was disastrous, probably ended any chance of scooping up the moderate vote they were desperately pining for.
3. Gaza, immigration, and generally running to the right put a bullet in any chance of bringing this campaign back. They tried really desperately with the weed stuff at the last minute, but the damage was done.
4. Democratic party reeks of putrescene

happy that liberals are going to be able to cosplay as revolutionaries while dragging down all organizing efforts again

high chance there will be an standoff between the national guard and a bunch of nazi seed-oil guys, but I think the possibilities are endless

hate to see liberals happy, but honestly sort of rooting for harris so I can see what kind of wacky hijinks the trump gang will get to this time around

2016 broke her brain politically and literally everything is trump’s fault. It’s mostly harmless so I don’t really argue. She also has had an insane, almost religious, hatred towards republicans since the late 90’s so I gotta give her props for that at least.

has anyone else noticed the proliferation on AI generated content ALL OVER the internet the last couple of months. I’m not even talking about dalle images or anything like that, just simple text is AI generated EVERY FUCKING WHERE. I was trying to google a simple car repair last week, at least half of the search results were AI articles with some generic car advise and ended with trying to sell me some bullshit. You can’t even do the “add reddit at the end” trick anymore for any product recommendations because there are so many bots in the comments
