approach to elections and to the people. pulling same old worn-out faces does little, while conservatives put their base into extasy using the exact faces those people want to see and hear. the momentum the dnc got switching from biden to harris and making clear steps in approach to their base seems to look like a game changer. that is what eu parties could learn.
if only european parties opposed to local rightwing and conservatives learn something out of recent US example.
several years ago main road on my way to work was closed for a month. alternative routes was bad and worse, so i reluctantly ditched car and tried cycling instead because cycling route was okay, hoping i will somehow handle that one month.
quickly realized i’m rather enjoying cycling, month passed and i didn’t event thought about getting back in a car. i’m cycling ever since. commuting to and from work, cycling recreatively, doing 100km rides all around the area and the country, joined a club, enjoying every bit of cycling which makes me happy.
the road maintenance overall changed me, led me to find something that fullfills me, breaks down the stress, make me happy, change my mindset and made me be more active.
US politics affects whole world. their current elections in November could end up pretty much bad, and will affect the rest of the world. large part of EU public oppinon, local elections, and politics today, is under US influence. it is important how the US will be shaped in next four years, because it will affect rest of us.
also, US conservatives control, instruct, guide and finantially support conservatives in europe, provide them knowhow and practices to manipulate their societies, move closer to power and manipulate laws permanently. it’s going on for years. having conservative administration in power in the US, just spreads their wings towards societies and countries around the world - rise of conservativism in EU since trump’s coming to power is significant, and those groups all use the same methods, same words and practices, spread the same fears (conservative groups of Poland, Croatia, Hungary etc, are led, instructed and finantially supported by US conservative groups). so US elections surely aren’t just a local thing. it’s very global.

1·2 months ago“crooked joe biden”. minding the republicans (and conservatives, overalll) need to use insulting nicknames only, why are dems not using a nice descriptive nickname for the opponent too - like, a convicted felon, for example. he is exactly that. not trump, not mr. trump, not donald, but one and only: the convicted felon. dmc should use only that.
2·2 months agosimilar as other user wrote: metal, mountability aside bottle carrier, and a hose. i avoid those with just a hole on top, no hose, so you rape the valve with every stroke.
mountability or a seaparate mount is neat feat too. gauge not so much, as i need portable pump to get me out of trouble and not to inflate to exact bar i want for that type of tire. other pumps and gauges will do that job.
topeak mini morph is nice. i currently use different small one just as good, “blueline” maybe. anyway, pump, hose with presta/schradder, and a small separate brass valve adapter later for use on gas station air pump.
flats are a pain depending on tire you’re using. i had more trouble get a tire off in the first place.

it’s similar in many other countries today, not just the USA.

and send a message to everyone else: try to talk about shady activity or corruption, go on, try.
so you have to decide: you want websites inside their own window with a nice icon, or you want to get ridd of ads.
if the first is imperative to you, the choice is simple. watch ads.
