Certainly a major, if not the only, desired effect 🤣
I have a lot of success with a ~48h fast between dinner on Sunday and breakfast on Wednesday every week. I built up to it in 8h increments, find it easier than fasting every day. I do track calories for the rest of the week, but sometimes I forget or lose track for a few days, and it doesn’t seem to affect a steady weight loss of 1kg/week.
I’ve been finding it more and more difficult to keep good habits as my routine changes with the shorter days and wetter weather. Have been skipping going to the gym, and find myself thinking of food more often than usual during fasts.
I’ve also taken up weight training again. I find indoor exercise to be easier in the winter. But I do find I’m significantly weaker during a fast, so need to figure out how to set my goals.
But all things considered, it’s going well. Taking it one day at a time and making the best of the winter.
