  • Ive learned recently how easy it is to make noodles with stir fried vegetables. I base it off of chow mein but add whole wheat noodles. You cant get the same texture from frying the noodles when theyre whole wheat. But thats fine because it removes a step.

    I make a sauce with 1 part oyster sauce, and 2 parts each of soy sauce and gochujang, plus a small amount of whole seed mustard. Plus garlic powder because im lazy.

    I stir fry the white parts of the green onion, cabbage, and carrot in toasted sesame oil. Then garnish with the green green onion.

    Its not as fast as instant but its still quick and cheap. And its wayyy healthier.

    When ive made instant noodles in broth ive enjoyed adding okra.
