Even if it’s just people editing that article, the foundation will want to protect itself until the matter is settled.

I didn’t take your comment as rude, personally. To me, opening with Akshually indicated that joking intent to parody pedantry and I took no offense. I just felt like expressing my opinion on the term with no particular judgement of your joke because I think that the words we use are worth talking about.

I know I have a habit of replying seriously to jokes, which often comes across as me taking issue with them. I keep forgetting to clarify the tone of my message. If only there was a medical term for that communication deficit 😉

Wenn ich das richtig verstehe waren die pissig, dass der Landesvorstand versucht hat, die Komplexität des Gaza-Krieges mit Nuance zu behandeln? Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich da voll durchsteig (und wie parteiisch die verschiedenen Quellen sind).

Mein Eindruck ist, dass Lederer & Co unter dem Banner “Gegen jeden Antisemitismus” eine klare Pro-Israel-Position wollten und dann nicht zufrieden damit waren, dass die Ereignisse vom 7. Oktober 2023 als “Massaker” bezeichnet wurden, weil im gleichen Atemzug auch die “Kriegsverbrechen der israelischen Armee” kritisiert wurden. Das sei den Austretenden wohl zu vage gewesen.

Was wollen die denn, dass der Vorstand sagt “UN-Hilfskräfte beschießen finden wir geil”?
