I read (listened) to it for the first time last year. The audiobooks I had sounded like they were ripped from cassette, it was AWFUL.

I ended up getting the ebooks and read the first trilogy after stopping halfway through the first audiobook.

My wife loved them when they were new and had been asking me to read them for awhile, but I was kinda disappointed in them. Really interesting magic system, I just felt like the writing was too simplistic.

Also, your uncle inhabiting your body to have sex with someone was a pretty wild thing to read.

I’m with you, she can’t possibly take any form of public transport. Not because she’s somehow better than the rest of us, but for security if nothing else.

I’d say Chromecast is the only flagship there, it’s everywhere and reshaped the genre of those devices.

I used Stadia, it was cool, but clearly something they were dipping their toes in, it was never popular.

YT Originals was fine, but again not popular. Cobra Kai was the only show I really heard about.

I’m not sure how popular Hangouts was, I used it extensively, but only within certain groups of friends. It had no way to make money though, and they have made a bunch of messaging platforms since.

I use a buzzer with the smallest guard it comes with. It’s not what I would call “gradual” but it lessens the harsh transition.
