The design is very human
The design is very human
March 9th I think. Not too early compared to the concert but there were no big issues with shipping that I know of. It took almost a month to get from the US to Italy but for locals it got delivered in 2-3 days. I think it will be the same for EU
If they do the same for both US and EU they will open an online store. Be quick though since in the US they sold out in 20 mins and restocked only once. Otherwise you can buy second hand from japan but it will cost a lot since people tend to put higher prices + you’d have shipping and taxes as well. And personally you shouldn’t consider buying one at the venue since this year they have very low stock and long queues.
I’m going to both Toronto and Dusseldorf. I hope they will learn from the US and improve the EU one. The issue isn’t the screen itself but how it’s placed. Online you can read many opinions about it. The screen has actually higher quality and less reflection issues than the transparent one. If done right it’s not a bad experience it’s just that the placement in the US makes the screen stand out too much. MikuFes24 was on a screen, yet when I watched it online I really didn’t notice and I didn’t hear anyone from Japan complaining. If they can make the screen blend in with the rest of the stage it won’t be an issue. Sure it’s not what everyone expected and I’d also love to see how the hologram looks but after all that’s just part of the experience. In the end it all boils down to what your expectations are.
Italian here (Veneto) How do you say it in your dialect? The ball bearing one. I really can’t translate it myself into something that could make sense to me.
I love Miku’s design on this MV.
Same thought. I just said to people close to me that I don’t want gifts neither for christmas nor for my birthday and I’ll never want them. As a kid it makes sense, getting something you really want from someone else because you don’t really have a serious job or money at all so it’s one of the few chances to get something. Now if I want something I just buy it, otherwise I just don’t want it. And if I can’t buy it because it’s expensive why would I want someone else to spend that kind of money? Plus all that thinking about what would be a good gift. And if it’s about “showing you care about me” then really, just say merry christmas or happy birthday.
Other than dedicated extensions there is a filter to enable in ublock origin under the annoyances section for cookie popups
Didn’t even think of a building as a container
Dunno why you would be so happy when the bread is for the table
This. I remember that one video by LTT where he tried searching for a flight and he got a way higher price on the standard browser compared to the one with no personal accounts/cookies.
If I use search engines, be it to find opinions on a topic or as you said an insurance, I want those sorted by factors like the date it’s been created and maybe the reputability of the source. Not what the algorithm thinks I want to see or I should see in “its” opinion.
Personally I feel more easy minded because I know that whatever I do online leaves as little trace as usual. If I go out by myself say for a drive and I get back home I expect no one to ever know that I went away and where unless I decide to say so. Same goes for online activity. I would expect nothing to be tied to me and whatever I do to go unnoticed unless for some reason I agree with sharing such data. It’s often said though that with privacy comes less convenience and that is true: not having app features ready before you even ask or easily paying or doing other things online so I see how wanting convenience over privacy can be preferable. For me though, the point I made in the beginning is stronger and motivates me.
Also on a side note I watched a video from Louis Rossman where he talked about some kind of police radio going stolen and the authorities went ask google for people in that area that searched that specific model online to help track that person down so… yeah, I’m already not a fan of leaving traces I don’t want to leave. Let alone those that might make the authorities mistake me for a criminal.
Personally I’m trying to be as offline and anonimous as possible. I’m moving away from cloud storage and if a service can be used with a client without an account where I can locally save and back up things I like then I’m using that. The biggest challenge right now is youtube as a platform with that huge of a content and a decent algorithm for suggestions is yet to be created.
I see the curiosity. For me though unless it’s some pictures we took together (which I would have shared with them in the first place) the rest is stuff only me and whoever was involved should remember. As I said in another reply, if I didn’t share it it’s because I didn’t need/want to in the first place.
Yeah and I’d like to think like that too. Issue being that if I think “once I’m dead it’s not my problem anymore” then it would also automatically turn into “once I’m dead nothing I did mattered so why living in the first place?”. I will be dead, I won’t be able to care but people who were around me will for both what I did and who I was. Again, I have nothing REALLY important to hide but I might in the future so why not just get ready now and get used to this kind of digital lifestyle.
You’re the second person writing about this. I think it varies by country? Like… for how I see it, other than my car I don’t plan on having other loans. As for bank accounts and other financial stuff I think there is some kind of process that starts once the death has been announced in some formal way. Everything else should just be forgotten. Like just do what people did in the 50s or sum. There was no common technology in which to store important stuff. Just do the same things as back then for whatever matters, everything else is in my phone and pc shouldn’t be so crucial.
I assume most of that will be taken care of eventually. The only loan I have is for my car and either it’s gonna be paid off soon or I have insurance that will pay it for me be it the case I die next week. For the rest there is nothing really. I guess there is some way for my family to get into my bank account (after all even if I left my device unlocked it’s not like they could access the account easily). Other than that it’s mostly personal accounts and data. Maybe I’m missing something but I don’t really plan on taking other loans or whatever else that won’t be automatically be taken care off after sending some kind of notice about my death.
That is true, for real life it’s harder but as for digital, again. Until I’m here I think my data are protected simply because I’m pretty often around my devices and when that won’t be the case I would want it to stay that way.
To answer to your second reply, I do understand that evryone has their own secrets. I know that and I’m pretty sure that whatever secrets the people I know may have won’t bother me. We all have our things that might appear weird, strange or wrong to others and that’s common to everyone. But to me, if I applied that tought there would be no point in being into this foss and privacy movement at all. If I don’t care about my friends knowing my secrets then why would I care that a computer does? I’ve spent the last copule years trying to find alternatives to companies like google and I tried finding trusted software while also minimizing the amount of data I have online (I have around 30 accounts compared to the 100+ I had when I started) so since I’m so invested in this I aim to improve as much as I can.
100% privacy won’t be possble until the day I dig a hole on the bottom of the ocean to live in but for whatever can be done I aim to do it.
I’d sum up all this into something like I’m more of an “everything or nothing” kind of person when it comes to digital stuff, since I put effort into not using the convenient mainstream options, might as well always take it to an upper level.
Lmao the first part is really like “why yes I do have a keepass database locked with a password, key file and hardware key inside of a password protected zip inside a veracrypt container inside a pin protected USB which I keep inside a safe of which I melted the keys and now unlockable only with a PIN”
Wow this paperback thing is a cool idea. I was looking to not share anything but I’m sure I can apply it to other cases.
I think it just boils down to personal preference. You might make a song using the japanese vbank and some people will like it while making it with the japanese one will appeal more to someone else. IMO it’s a gamble really. You should check both. Maybe you’re able to get a better result out of one compared to the other.
