They changed to domestic worker because apparently “maid” was too dehumanizing.

It’s not much of an improvement.

Quite the opposite in my opinion. Maid is at least a word that is exclusively used for humans. The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear the word domestic is this.

When I heard they were making a DnD movie my expectations were exceedingly low. This honestly looks pretty fun. I’ll take this over capeshit any day.
