Honestly I don’t know much about these things but have been around electrical engineers! I looked up a few things I will admit 🙂
Nope. https://www.ece.rice.edu/~jdw/435/book/ch9.pdf
Related but not the same.
Transformers don’t deal much with resistance though…reluctance I was referring to magnetic reluctance which is the magnetic analog…more applicable to the transformer in this case. Thanks for the interesting exchange 🙃
Nope! Referring to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetic_reluctance
🤪
My go-to is just absinthe with a sugar cube. Looks cool and the ties to Dracula are good enough for me 🧛
It’s just a phase. They will get over their reluctance.
Heh! I always think of that when talking about my printer or sewing machine. 😂
Front loaders cause less wear on clothing and use less water, which is why I originally chose front loading. It has been a while since I have been in the market, but the favorite feature on my old LG is the ease of getting to just a rinse and spin. Turn the dial to turn on the machine, hit the small rinse+spin button, then start!
Farmhouse is all about texture. What is your favorite color? Get a muted version of it. For instance if your favorite color is blue, try a color like needlepoint navy from Sherwin Williams. Or if it is red, try rosedust or toile red.
Since you have entirely neutral woodwork, floor, ceiling, and furniture any color is going to stand out…even if muted.
Recommended more than color: texture. Plaster techniques, shiplap (overdone a bit thanks to Chip and Joanna), cedar boards, wallpaper, etc. will add more to your farmhouse desires. Farmhouses are rustic so having the perfect trim, carpet, etc could handle something to contrast it.
Just some suggestions! Make sure to post once you decide on a change :)
This makes me glad I chose to replace my leatherman with a Swiss Army knife lol. I have the orange juice s2 and the only issue is a chip in the small screwdriver from trying to turn a different screwhead type. I keep it in my work bag but wanted something for personal use and decided on the deluxe tinker and am happy with it. The leatherman tools I looked at just didn’t vibe with me.
Putzing around is another way to say goofing off.
I always enjoyed the word putz. I typically use the verb format but it amuses me that every definition is so different lol.
I have been very happy with my Canon RP. Mirrorless is a lot more common now and the range of lenses offered by Canon at a variety of focal lengths and price points is substantial. I use an adapter so I can use EOS EF mount lenses which helps a lot with the cost as you can buy older lenses if you want. Also you would have less of a learning curve with the logic behind the menus since you are familiar already with a Canon camera.
I just want to see the day where as a pedestrian I don’t feel like my retinas are fried every time a car passes at night or has their brights on during the day (ugh). I know it is wishful thinking because apparently politicians don’t give a shit about pedestrians (or cyclists).
Here: you dropped this \
Such a good game.
I really love it! I have read manga and craft books on it and the color is nice. I upgraded from an Aura H2O 2 and it was well worth it for me. Don’t expect full color but even with it being “washed out” I still feel like the color adds a lot.
I wholeheartedly agree. I use my e-reader (a Kobo Libre Colour) daily. I still buy physical books sometimes but it is nice being able to have such a small and light device with a few choices on board. I have had many e-readers and tablets over the years and the only one I have had that I do not recommend is Boox. I got the Palma and the screen broke within 24 hours and they said it was my fault? I sold it at a yard sale. I have had kindles and Kobos with no issue for decades at this point. They are well built and worth having around. I prefer Kobo at this point for similar reasons to yourself. I don’t use custom firmware but I do use Nickel Menu to get to the games that Kobo decided to hide away on the latest OS. Also great for things like inverting colors or rotating on the fly. Hope you get a lot of life and enjoyment out of yours as well!
“Don’t put it down. Put it away.” I say this to myself all the time. I try to follow it and it has helped with the tornado of “lost” items that clutter the house.
