Unsupporting the red and blue party will shift the power somewhere else from the same two parties that have been ruling for a century. The only thing preventing someone else from winning is the narrative that a third party can never win. The same narrative continues to be told election after election decade after decade, it’s not so hard to see how it’s been used by the government to never really change administration and cycle in power the red and blue party.

Wrong, by losing votes the red and blue party are forced to change their policies to get votes back otherwise they lose elections. On the contrary if they don’t lose any support they are not really forced or motivated to do any change.
