OnePlus 6/6T has great support (which means that it is missing camera and USB power output functionality and is more unstable than desired), isn’t locked down too much (you need to backup some partitions and you can go ham after that), and is powerful (it is a 2018 flagship phone with Snapdragon 845) - it is currently one of the best options for mobile Linux.
