What are you doing, step-Harrier?!
How would this compare to the CubeXX? I’m just starting to think about getting one of these systems so I’m looking into options. I watched the comparison video posted the other day, and pretty much picked that one out of the options he presented. I definitely like the horizontal style over the vertical, and the CubeXX looked to be the best of their budget options in that regard.
In reading up a bit, it looks like the RG406 line is Android-based, while the CubeXX uses their own custom OS. And the RG406’s T820 CPU appears to be quite a bit better than the H700 on paper. And square vs rectangle screen, obviously.
What does that get me in the real world? Can the RG406 handle more/newer systems? Better or different features? The video the other day implied that there were alternative OSes I could try, is that a thing here for the Android ones too?
Looks like it’s about a $150 price difference, at least based on the CubeXX ($95) and the existing RG406V ($249). 2.5x is a pretty big difference!
So I guess I’m curious if it’s worth it or not? Primarily looking to run SNES/Sega and earlier, but there are definitely a handful of N64, PS1, and PS2 games that I’d love to play again if possible.
Dibs on the band name Puerto Rico & The October Surprises.
I’ve always been sort of vaguely curious what car company CEOs drive, if/when they aren’t just being chauffeured around in the company limo. Like, what’s in their garage, and if left to their own devices, what would they drive around in to run get groceries or go out to eat or whatever.
Moreso the “regular” car brands than the luxury ones. Like I assume the head of Porsche drives a high end Cayenne or 911 (or both), so that’s less interesting.
But, like, does the CEO of Chevrolet drive a Chevrolet? Does he have a maxed out Suburban? Or does he step up to the Escalade, even if it’s from a different division? Or does he eschew GM entirely and go for the Rolls/Bentley, or a pasta rocket?
In this case, it looks like Ford’s CEO is driving the direct competition, which is interesting. Makes sense, I suppose, though it’s not at all the answer I expected.
Nope, not really, it’s another meme I’ve seen that this reminded me of. Same kind of premise, look at all these dates that overlap kind of thing. Fax machine invented, samurai still a thing, Lincoln still a thing, therefore samurai sent fax to Lincoln.
Since this one brought up the samurai too, I just thought it would be funny to merge them together and have the samurai in this party be that same one that supposedly sent the fax.
Hurry onward, pencil, or you’ll soon be dead!
Wow, there were 7 levels in that game? That’s 6 more than I ever saw!
Sorry bud, it’s still just pennies, best I can do is $25.84.
Was that the samurai that sent a fax to Abraham Lincoln?
And it’s not all either. He’s only going to kill maim the Democrats. And black people. And brown people. And LGBT people. And women. And non-Christians. So, you know, as long as you’re not in one of those groups, you’ll be totally fine. For now. But maybe don’t get too comfortable.
Yup, same. Upgraded from P6 to P7 for $20 a couple Black Fridays ago. The P7 is starting to get a little wonky, so I’m waiting to see what the sales look like this year, it’ll almost certainly be either a Pixel 9 or Nothing Phone (2).
No idea. Yamaha was doing pianos long before they were doing motorcycles, so it can’t be them. I can’t think of a company that started with motorcycles and then moved into pianos.
Hey man, 𐎦𐎮𐎮𐎣 𐎮𐎭𐎤 too!
If I had a nickel for every story I’ve read today about a clemency request in a decades-old shaken baby syndrome case, I’d have two nickels, which doesn’t sound like a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.
I prefer arches, btw.
Lion-o?
I’m not overly thrilled with the new track either. It’s alright, I guess. Hoping the rest of the album will be better.
Oh that’s cool! If I’m ever on that side of the pond I’d love to visit their headquarters.
I loved the dials on the Twelve, especially Astral Blue. But I just can’t get into the integrated bracelet style, I dunno, just doesn’t do it for me for some reason. But it is a great choice for an office watch, for sure.
Yup, this is just a coordinated smear campaign from Big Integer.
