Life keeps happening back home. If you have friends and family you’re definitely going to miss some stuff. And even if you make the effort of keeping in touch, long distance relationships usually deteriorate over time.

You also won’t be able to discuss experiences and problems that arise from the lifestyle on a deep level with most people. It’s getting more popular, but we’re still a rare species.

Technology is definitely already there, although battery life would probably be shit as the amount of pixels is almost triple than 1080p.

My best guess is that the 3 things are still considered “premium” features, the end price of such a device would be not very accesible. Also, given the responses and upvotes of the fellow DNs (who would probably be the main market for such a thing), it seems that the demand isn’t very big.

If you definitely need this right now I would search for a 16" touch and a power bank.

I just bought decoration and some kitchenware last time because the apartment was lacking some homeliness and it took me 2 out of 3 months. I can’t imagine buying furniture.
