I would start by checking out https://lemmyverse.net/communities – not knowing exactly what your posts look like, why not include in /c/comics or similar?

This is a great perspective that a lot of us feel (and may be holding back others). As far as where to post on your last point…I hope the Lemmy users don’t overbias on a bunch of niche communities. That took years for Reddit…we need to start with more generic communities until they saturate and organically break out.

That is also a unique benefit…we can get exposed to more ideas and topics versus the potential vacuum / groupthink reddit has turned into.
